OUR VISION

To see every church engage with God,

with their community, and with the world.

OUR MISSION

We partner with churches to provide educational and interactive resources that equip learners with the foundation and tools to effectively engage with God, each other, and their world.

OUR STORY

When I was a freshman in high school, I saw the Invisible Children documentary for the first time. That was the beginning of my journey of frustration and anger at the injustices in this world. In the next four years of my high school career, my youth group attempted to respond and care for the oppressed in our world. We faced several barriers. There were many adults who supported us, but there were also the who placated us and overlooked our potential. After high school, Hannah and I went to two different universities, where we became more equipped to make a difference in the world. Though our high school years were filled with high achievement and networking opportunities, Hannah and I both struggled to find ways to make change in our community and in the world. Looking back, we would have deeply benefited from having resources and educational tools that help high school students become active participants in combatting local and global problems. We believe in the power of youth to change the world, and to live in a way that reflects Christ to their communities. But they need help. The Dream Box exists to help students dream big dreams with the creativity and skills that God has given them, that they may change the world for His glory.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in the power of Jesus Christ, who redeems and transforms lives for the glory of God.

We believe we serve a God of justice, who hates oppression and fights for marginalized peoples of the world.

We believe in the unity of the Body of Christ and the Church’s calling to carry out God’s transformative work in the world.

We believe justice must start with reconciled relationships, first with God, then with self, and finally with the rest of the world.

We believe we are called to love in action and in truth.

We believe in empowering individuals and communities to use their God-given passions, skills, and abilities to better themselves and the world.
We believe in cross-cultural partnership that leads to social empowerment.

We believe each person, regardless of race, gender, or ethnicity, is created in the image of God, and thus demands dignity, respect, and love.

We believe we are called to be good stewards of the world we live in, working to preserve, improve, and appreciate it.
