The Dream Box is a small but mighty start-up nonprofit made up of volunteers. We are all deeply invested in the company’s vision and goals, but… we all still have day jobs. As we are a group of committed volunteers, we are looking to partner with people who share our vision to educate, empower, and engage Christians in serving their communities and changing the world. 


This page shows specific positions that we are currently aiming to fill. However, we are always open to partnering with people of diverse skills and backgrounds. Graphic Designer

The Dream Box is currently looking for a volunteer Design Intern to work with the Curriculum Development team on page layout for our educational materials. One of our aims as a company is to design approachable, aesthetically pleasing educational products. We want the design and layout of our materials to keep readers engaged and to enhance their learning experience. To best meet this goal, we are seeking a new member of our team who can execute the vision of the Curriculum Development team with their design skills!

 

  • Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Curriculum Development team on graphic design and page layout

    • Remote position

  • Qualifications

    • Proficient in Adobe Suite

    • Self-starter, active learner

    • Page layout experience recommended

Social Media Manager

As we begin to grow our social media presence, The Dream Box is looking for a social media guru who is willing to partner with us on a volunteer basis. Our Social Media Manager will work with our Media Content Creator and our Sales and Marketing team to share content that captures our vision and gets people excited about The Dream Box. Our goal is to create space for people to dream; come help us create that space! 

 

  • Role:

    • Manage TDB’s social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter 

    • Remote position

  • Qualifications

    • Social media management experience

    • Organized, detail oriented, excellent communication skills

Media Content Creator

The Dream Box is currently looking for a volunteer Media Content Creator who enjoys telling stories through video. This person would help us show the world more of who we are through our social media accounts by producing short videos in partnership with our Social Media Manager and Creative team. We as a company have so many hopes and dreams and we want to share those dreams with our community. Come help us share who we are!

 

  • Responsibilities:

    • Produce social media content for TDB accounts

    • Remote position

  • Qualifications:

    • Experience in video editing and sound mixing

Research Associate

The Dream Box is constantly seeking to create educational content that speaks to relevant issues in our world. In order to produce and update this content, we are looking to partner with a volunteer Research Associate who can help The Dream Box stay informed about current issues and events. Our Research Associate would work closely with the Curriculum Development team to curate content that will allow us to best educate people about what is going on in the world and how we should respond. Our hope is to engage current issues in a way that reflects God’s heart for justice, and we are looking for someone to lead that process!

 

  • Responsibilities:

    • Research local and global issues and current events 

    • Write research memos for The Dream Box staff

  • Qualifications:

    • Excellent reading and writing skills 

    • Self-motivated, curious, efficient

    • Interested in current events and global issues (politics, international relations, etc.)

    • Proficient in researching open source information and academic sources
